Swiss Carbonara

Keeping in touch with people you meet during your travels is very important...today i met up with a swiss gal i met a year ago while hiking in the canadian rockies. Later in the day we were joined by another of her friends (which i also met in canada) and we cooked spaghetti carbonara...swiss style!! Luzern is behind me...im now in Windisch.

Hmm... this story about hiking with swiss girls in the Rockies sounds familiar :) Could the girl you met up with be Andrea or Brigit? If so, tell them I said hi.

Greetings. I will be in Interlaken on Friday. Could you please share the name of the free internet bar you discovered? Also, if you'll be back in Interlaken in the next week, stop around at the Post Hardermannli. Look for the tacky American Tourists. We're a family group of about 16 converging on Interlaken as of this Friday. Ask for Misty.

Shawn, correct. I already have forwarded the hi, and ive given them a full update on your life (as best i could). Also ive informed them to expect a visit from you in a few years.

The free internet was in Zermatt, not interlaken. Reguardless, if you do decide swing by zermatt (which you most certainly should) the bar is located right after you cross the bridge in town after the main church (from where everyone photographs the matterhorn)...the pub is the first (and only) pub on the left.
